1. No name calling or personal attacks; stick to the argument, not the individual.

2. Allow for the goodwill of the other person, at least initially, especially when you disagree.

3. You are not likely The Inquisition nor its antithesis. Be careful about making good and accurate judgments, informed as much by humility as by your pathos and intellect. But boldly chase wisdom.

4. Within reason, stick to the topic of the thread; no conversation hijackers, please.

5. It is not necessary to begin each initial post with “I was not aborted . . .” but in the interest of logic, and the scientific method, it is permitted.

6. If you don’t agree to the rules, don’t post.
